This guy came to the U of U a few years back and I had the privilege to hear him live on stage doing "what I make" as well as other spoken word poems. Of all the poets there, he was by far the best. I love this. Awesome.
It's a great piece. I particularly love using his piece "The impotence of proofreading" when we get toward the end of the semester...it's a good laugh, and then we dive into nitpickety editing....
