Contemplations for July

  1. What is happiness?
  2. Is happiness having only 39 days of summer vacation left? Or having a whole 39 days of vacation left!
  3. Is happiness the difference between a question mark and an exclamation point?!
  4. Is happiness a certain beverage?
  5. Is happiness box wine?
  6. What is suffering?
  7. Is suffering the patio project?
  8. Does suffering involve digging?
  9. Can suffering be solved by certain beverages?
  10. What is the relationship between happiness, suffering and box wine?
Discuss.

This is a perfect post.

That's first.

I cannot answer all your questions, but as to questions 7 & 8, I answer, humbly and from my own perspective, "Yes." and "Yes!"

In fact, I was discussing your patio project with the historian just this afternoon, pointing out that I am the kind of person who would say, "Hell to the no" to such a project, unless someone else was being paid to do it for me. That's how I roll. Everything besides that with regard to a backyard project is HELL.

But I respect you immensely for taking it on. RESPECT. Seriously.

Box wine
Is fine

Suffering in hell certainly involved lots of digging.

Happiness is suffering, mitigated by boxed wine and the vision of a future patio.

It's not just boxed wine but any alcoholic beverage. Like Lisa B. I say Hell No to such projects but I respect those who take it on and can't wait to see your new porch on which you can sit and happily drink boxed wine.

Perhaps we dig because we suffer, then we suffer more because we dig, then we drink to free ourselves from the suffering, but then we dig some more...

If you can even joke that suffering is the patio project, you have lived a sheltered life.

No doubt you are a happy person. Cheers! :)
