I'm Awesome!

As if this is news.
But I just invented, based on other things I've made, a Peach Salsa to accompany some grilled salmon I made for dinner. I served it with grilled Portabello mushrooms, grilled potatoes and garlic, and a plate of fresh veggies (heirloom tomatoes, cucumbers, radishes, carrots). Delicious.
Sorry, this is all I can blog about right now. I'm busy thinking of a delicious but not too difficult dessert or side dish to take to the Department Party this weekend.
Also, what outfit do I need to wear to convey Julie, the Cruise Director? (Cue the theme song for "The Love Boat")

White pants and a navy blue sweater? with some sort of gold braid accent? Clipboard? And your dinner sounds delicious.

Yes, on the pants and sweater but didn't she also wear a scarf on her neck??? And a clipboard is a must. Maybe this could be your Halloween costume as well. Peach salsa sounds good to me, but hubby would never go for it. Before touching any salsa he always asks "Does this have any fruit in it??" Oh well. The whole dinner sounded fab. Bring rhubarb crisp for the dessert. That always impresses. It must be the rhubarb.

That's so weird, because that's what I was thinking...rhubarb. That's a big 10-4, sister.
And yes, a clipboard. And a scarf. But I don't think I own any white pants.

You ARE awesome. And Julie is also awesome. Whenever I get bossy, Erik calls me Cruise Director Bossy. He's hilarious. Ha. Ha. I agree with Lisa B--Clipboard!

It's okay-most people don't own white pants. Unless of course you work on a cruise ship!!! Best of luck with the dessert. Yum-I can taste it now!!!

I also thought that Julie looked like Tenille of the Captain and. . ., so just dig up some old album covers and there you go.
